Message not the max speed for the given distance. As I said the distance doesnt change .. the starting distance .. the distance that you begin braking ...and if you keep the terminal ( final ) distance constant .. the only variable is the speed attained .. therefore with more speed in the same distance .. you will need more braking power...

I don't feel like explaining the science / dynamics / forces / ecetera .. I think that the whole thing can be explained in simple terms ...

Guapo and ASH explained my point best without explaining the science behind it --- if you have a faster car .. you will want bigger brakes ...

I think we all need to take emotion and passion out of this and let it die ...
